In addition to the content revealed in <CLOSERS CHANNEL ON. EP2>, there are additional matters I would like to introduce to all Agents, hence this message.

For a long time, we have been receiving feedback regarding Enhancement, and our development team has been carefully listening and constantly considering how to improve the Enhancement System to be more convenient.

Based on valuable feedback from Agents, we have identified several key factors that make the Enhancement System difficult:

1. The higher the Enhancement level, the greater the burden of attempting Enhancement, yet the feedback upon successful Enhancement is not sufficiently high.
2. There is significant variation in Enhancement efficiency among different gear types, Trinkets in particular have a smaller advantage in Enhancement.
3. Enhancement buff has become a necessity for Enhancement attempts, therefore putting a significant burden on the attempts themselves.

To address these concerns, we will be improving the Enhancement System on September 11, 2024. The Enhancement System is one of the most significant systems in character growth, and we will approach its improvement with caution.

Through these improvements, the following changes will be implemented:

1. Removal of the Enhancement Buff system and increased base success rates
2. Introduction of a new Enhancement Guarantee system
3. Increase in Trinket Enhancement efficiency
4. Addition of Enhancement Unleash Option
5. Maximum Enhancement stage extension and the probability adjustment for lower ranges

I will provide detailed explanations for each of these topics.

1. Removal of the Enhancement Buff system and increased base success rates

The current Enhancement Buff system provides probability boosts based on conditions, but since it involves paid items, it also adds to the burden of Enhancement attempts. Furthermore, its limitation is the inability to guarantee 100% Enhancement success.

Therefore, starting with the Enhancement System improvement update on September 11, 2024, the 1.2x probability boost provided by the existing Enhancement Buff will be reflected in the base Enhancement probability. The Enhancement Buff system will be removed, and a new Enhancement Guarantee system will be introduced.

As a preemptive measure, starting from the update on July 24, 2024, we plan to block enhancement buffs from being activated newly and remove existing acquisition paths altogether.

Additionally, any remaining Enhancement Buff Vouchers in possession can be exchanged for items of regular Gear Booster Fuel and Lucky Gear Booster Fuel which are more valuable than its price.

• Schedule: During maintenance on July 24, 2024
  • End of Sales: Please refer to the Pre-notice: Enhancement System Adjustment
• End of Use (Unavailability):
  • After the July 24, 2024 maintenance, you can’t activate Enhancement Buffs newly by using Enhancement Buff Vouchers.
  • Enhancement Buffs already activated will remain until the remaining days.
• Replacement:
  • Enhancement Buff Voucher in possession before the maintenance on Jul 24th, 2024 will be changed to [Enhancement Fuel Selectable Box] 
  • The Enhancement Fuel Selectable Box contains the following items: x500 Gear Booster Fuel, x42 Lucky Gear Booster Fuel, and x17 Gear Booster Fortifier. You can choose one of these items.
    ※ Gear Booster Fuel and Gear Booster Fortifier will be distributed as tradeable items.

2. Introduction of a new Enhancement Guarantee system

Starting with the update on September 11, 2024, we will introduce a new Enhancement Guarantee system, which ensures a 100% success rate under certain conditions. This will become a fundamental feature of the Enhancement System, without the need to purchase additional items.

[New Enhancement Guarantee System]

• If the Enhancement result is "No Change," the Fixed Enhancement Points will increase.
• If the Enhancement result is "Enhancement Success," the Fixed Enhancement Points will be reset. This also applies when transferring Enhancements or using Gear Booster.
• If the Enhancement result is "Enhancement Failure," the Fixed Enhancement Points that are currently owned will be maintained. If Fixed Enhancement Points exceed the maximum value of the previous Enhancement stage, the excess Fixed Enhancement Points will be removed.
  ※ If 100 Fixed Enhancement Points are accumulated in Enhancement Stage A, even if the stage drops to A-1 due to Enhancement failure, the Fixed Enhancement Points for that gear will still be 100. However, the maximum Fixed Enhancement Points for stage A-1 is 90, so only 90 Fixed Enhancement Points will be retained. Subsequent Enhancement attempts can guarantee 100% success.
• Fixed Enhancement Points will accumulate separately for each gear item.
• Enhancement attempts with Fixed Enhancement Points at maximum value will guarantee 100% success.
• The maximum Fixed Enhancement Points required for fixed Enhancement of gear will vary depending on the Enhancement stage.
• "Great Success" will not occur when attempting fixed Enhancement.

Through this approach, we aim to provide clearer feedback for Enhancement attempts.

3. Increase in Trinket Enhancement efficiency

As Trinkets have lower Enhancement benefits compared to other types of gear, we will increase the Enhancement benefits of this type of gear, which has had lower Enhancement motivation issues due to their lower benefits.

• Increase in Physical/Psi attack increase for each Enhancement stage.
• Increase in Physical/Psi critical damage for each Enhancement stage.
• The Trinket enhancement stat increase is applied to all gears, including the current gear.

By increasing the benefits of Trinket Enhancement, we aim to improve the lower motivation for Trinket Enhancement.

4. Addition of Enhancement Unleash Option

In areas where feedback has been felt to be lacking even if the enhancement stage has been increased, we plan to provide a clearer advantage of enhancement increase through the ‘Enhancement Unleash Option’.

• Unleash Option is a gear-unique option that is activated at a certain enhancement stage or higher.
• Unleash Option is activated in a fixed option, not in random.
• Each gear item will have different Unleash Options.
• Unleash Option will be introduced starting with <Core> gear that will be added after the September 11, 2024 update.
• No attributes(stats) will be deleted or lost due to the addition of the Unleash Option

Through these additions, we hope Agents will feel the feedback on the Enhancement stage increase. We will continue to update and actively contribute to character growth.

5. Maximum Enhancement Stage extension

In addition to the improvements mentioned above, the Enhancement stage will also be extended to +30, providing long-term growth goals to become stronger characters.

• The maximum Enhancement stages will be extended to +30.
• The success probability for Enhancements below +25 will be increased.
  • In addition to the increased base probability due to the removal of the Enhancement Buff, probabilities for certain ranges will be further increased.
  • The new Enhancement Guarantee system will also be applied to stages 26-30.
  • The existing Enhancement Transfers can also be used in new Enhancement stages.

Through these improvements, we will make every effort to prepare and provide reasonable and continuous gameplay goals for everyone.
