Hello, this is GM Cuckoo.&nbsp;Today, I would like to share an important announcement with all Agents.&nbsp;In order to provide long-term service for Closers and to strengthen our communication with all Agents, we are pleased to inform you of an update to our PD leadership.&nbsp;PD Hyun-Jun Kang who is currently managing Closers will oversee the overall management. In addition, a new PD has joined the Closers project to further support and enhance the game's direction.&nbsp;With both PDs now working together, Closers will continue to develop in a more positive direction, with increased communication and engagement with all Agents.&nbsp;Accordingly, we have conducted an interview with each PD to address the questions you may have. &nbsp;We are pleased to now share their responses with you.Shall we begin?&nbsp;<h4>▶ Interview with PD Hyun-Jun Kang</h4>&nbsp;Q. Over the past two years, you’ve overseen many updates as the dedicated PD of Closers. To what extent do you feel your initial goals have been achieved?A. When I first assumed the role of PD for Closers, my top priority was “optimization.” As the game had been live for many years, various efforts had been made to enhance the environment—such as transitioning to 64-bit, supporting 120 FPS, and upgrading to DirectX 11. However, these improvements had sometimes led to unintended issues, including frame drops and performance degradation.&nbsp;With that in mind, I firmly believed that establishing a stable and seamless environment should come first. I would say that approximately 85% of the goals I set have been achieved over the past two years.&nbsp;Another objective was to revitalize the narrative flow among the teams. To that end, we actively developed new characters and made considerable efforts to integrate them naturally into the existing teams—for example, characters such as Ria Yoon and Triss. I'm grateful that many Agents responded positively to these additions.&nbsp;Q. There have been various updates, including Break Challenge, new characters, raids, and QoL improvements. What were the guiding principles behind these decisions?A. Rather than following a rigid structure, I focused on identifying what was most needed at each point in time. During summer and winter, we prioritized large-scale content, while spring and fall were typically dedicated to system improvements and quality-of-life updates.At each stage, we carefully examined what the Agents most needed and what areas required enhancement, allowing us to determine the proper priorities. Thanks to this approach, each seasonal update took on its own unique characteristics. Q. Among the updates that have been released thus far, is there anything you found regrettable?A. In our efforts to enhance the enjoyment of farming, we implemented various initiatives—one of which was Break Challenge: Fly King.At the time, we wanted to introduce an element of randomness to break away from the monotony of existing farming structures. Additionally, we sought to reinterpret existing raid bosses in new ways to offer a fresh combat experience.However, in hindsight, we recognize that this approach may not have aligned with the expectations of our Agents. The random nature without guaranteed drops, and the lack of intuitive combat patterns, ultimately caused inconvenience. I feel bad that we were not able to fully deliver the enjoyment we had intended. Q. On a different note—could you tell us a bit about the newly joining PD?A. The new PD has a wealth of experience operating a wide range of games, having worked with our company for many years. Most importantly, he has a genuine affection and passion for Closers.With his diverse background, he brings a fresh perspective and new approaches. I firmly believe he will offer new enjoyment and improved experiences for our Agents. As I continue to oversee overall management, I will work closely with him and share insights to ensure consistent quality going forward.I kindly ask for your warm support and encouragement for our newly joined PD.&nbsp;&nbsp;<h4>▶ Interview with PD Lee Hyun Soo</h4> Q. You seem like a familiar face. Could you please introduce yourself briefly? A. Greetings. My name is Lee Hyunsoo, and I have recently joined Closers as its sixth PD. It has now been over seven years since I joined NADDIC Games. Although I officially became part of the Closers team around May of this year, I had already been observing the project and the work of previous PDs closely in the company. While I am no longer active in broadcasting area, there may be some who recognize me from occasional appearances on game-related broadcasts. If, by unfortunate algorithmic recommendation, my face happened to reach your screen, I extend my apologies for any visual inconvenience caused. Q. How do you feel about stepping into the role of PD following PD Hyun Jun Kang?A. I feel a great sense of responsibility.“Sixth.”The fact that the number has increased by one may seem trivial, but it carries significant weight. Of course, the number itself is not as important as the role it signifies. I hope to serve as a “Bridge”, maintaining the positive legacy built by the previous PDs while also steadily addressing areas for improvement. Rather than declaring a complete overhaul, I intend to take a thoughtful approach—focusing on consistent improvement and advancement based on the foundation that has already been established.&nbsp;Q. Have you been playing Closers since the beginning?A. Closers is a title I have followed since its early development phase. Although circumstances led to it being serviced by another publisher at the time, I continued to observe its progress with interest. After joining NADDIC Games, I became even more closely involved with the project. There was a brief period when I had to step away due to other responsibilities, but I have since returned and am now fully dedicated to the project. Q. Which characters are you currently playing?A. While I do play all characters, I currently focus primarily on five: Yuri, Triss, Mistel, Lucy, and Ria.&nbsp;Q. Many Agents may feel uncertain due to the leadership change. Will this shift in PD result in any significant changes to update schedules or overall direction? A. While the change may appear sudden from the perspective of our Agents, I have in fact been working alongside PD Kang prior to formally taking on the role, sharing in decision-making as part of the transition process. Both PD Kang and I have placed strong emphasis on striking a balance between continuity and change.&nbsp; Major scheduled updates will proceed as planned, without significant alterations. In between, we intend to introduce improvements to outdated systems where necessary.&nbsp; &nbsp;In particular, we are committed to responding promptly to ongoing concerns raised by our Agents—such as service stability and suggestions regarding update content. While we recognize that there may still be room for improvement, we are actively gathering feedback across various channels and will do our best to address it accordingly. We ask for your continued patience and support as we move forward. Q. Were there any aspects of Closers you personally hoped to improve upon once you became PD?A. One of my medium- to long-term goals is to move beyond repetitive gameplay loops, such as “Xue/Triss/Gildal” or “Dogra/Magra/Integrated Farming Dungeon,” and instead create spaces and moments where Agents can truly enjoy staying within the game. In addition, as the service lifespan of Closers grows longer, we have seen a gradual decline in accessibility for new and returning Agents. I aim to explore ways to open up these entry points once again. Of course, no single solution can address everything. Therefore, I hope to experiment with various approaches and remain open to strong feedback if our direction ever diverges from expectations. Our Agents’ voices will serve as the foundation for growth and positive change. Q. There are a few updates that were previously announced but have yet to be implemented—for example, the Crew Leader Delegation system and bundled costume sales. What is the current status of these items?A. These features have not been abandoned. They remain on our list of pending development tasks. We fully understand that many Agents are awaiting these updates and have expressed their opinions regarding them. Although their implementation has been delayed due to a focus on service stability, we will make every effort to resume development and apply them as soon as possible.&nbsp; Given that Closers is a title that has been developed over many years and by many hands, certain changes—even minor ones—can produce unexpected ripple effects. Some delays arise from the need to introduce new systems while also ensuring overall stability. That said, we recognize the importance of keeping our Agents informed and offering transparency about the status of such developments. We will work to not only deliver quality content, but also to communicate more frequently with you—sharing our thoughts and development progress more openly and regularly. Q. Do you have any unique strategies or approaches to further revitalize Closers?A. First and foremost, we are preparing a space and time in which we can actively listen to the voices of our Agents. While we are still finalizing the schedule and format, we plan to hold a session where feedback can be heard in real time—or as close to it as possible. We will provide detailed information regarding the schedule and method in the near future. Q. Could you share your vision or any final message for the Agents of Closers?A. This coming winter, Closers will celebrate its 11th anniversary, launching in Korea. "Hm…that should be all of the ingredients for tonight's dinner. Now then, time to head home." Soon, she began to leave for Seha's house. Then, after a few minutes, she eventually arrived. "Seha, I'm home." she said as she opened the door. However, to her surprise, there was no response. "Seha?"&nbsp;Mirae then went into the living room, seeing if Seha was there. However, he was not there. She then put the bags down on the kitchen countertop and began to search for him. "Hm? Where did he go? Did he go out earlier? If so, then he would have called me…"&nbsp;Soon, Mirae began to check the entire first floor, but there was no sign of Seha. "Looks like he's not here, maybe he's on the second floor."&nbsp;Mirae then went upstairs and the first room she checked was Seha's room. As she peaked into his room, she was greeted with the sight of him sleeping on his bed, making her sigh softly. "So that's where you are…" she thought to herself as she walked into his room. As she did, she noticed how he was sleeping peacefully on his bed, and she could not help but let out a smile. "Seha looks so peaceful when he's sleeping like this…"&nbsp;However, it was then Seha began to turn in his sleep, along with some muttering as well.&nbsp;It was then Mirae had an idea. She then sat on the bed and gently raised Seha's head before placing it on her lap. As she did, Seha's expression began to turn into a peaceful one; his earlier mutters turned into soft breathing. As Seha began to relax and started to sleep peacefully once more, Mirae let out a soft smile before using her hand to rub and play with his hair.&nbsp;At that moment, Mirae could not help but feel joy in this act.&nbsp;Eventually, Seha's eyes began to open and close quickly before he let out a small yawn, signaling Mirae that he was waking up. "Umm…mmmgh…mmmmgh? M-Mirae?" he moaned with a yawn.&nbsp;"Ah, you're awake." she said with a smile.&nbsp;"Yeah…what are you doing here?" he said as he was slowly getting up.&nbsp;"Well, I came back with the groceries for tonight's dinner, but I wasn't able to find you until earlier. Did I disturb you or something?"&nbsp;"No. I was just waking up." he replied as he was getting off from Mirae's lap. "So, want me to help make dinner?"&nbsp;"Yes. Let's go." Mirae said as she soon left the room, with Seha soon following her.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"Wow. I can't believe classes ended early today. Mirae is going to be surprised to hear about this." Seha thought to himself as he was walking home. Eventually, he arrived at the front door of his house. "Mirae. I'm home." he said as he opened it.&nbsp;To Seha's surprise, no sound was heard from Mirae. "Mirae? Did she leave the house today?" he thought to himself as he took off his shoes and went towards the living room. As he arrived, he immediately found Mirae, who was sleeping on the couch. For a moment, Seha could not help but let out a small smile. "Mirae…"&nbsp;It was then a small worry came into his heart upon seeing what Mirae was wearing, which consisted of shorts and a tank top. "Mirae, you're going to catch a cold wearing that while sleeping…then again, I'm in no position to talk, considering that Closers don't catch colds."&nbsp;Seha continued to look at Mirae.&nbsp;"Still though, it doesn't hurt at least."&nbsp;And then, Seha left for his room before returning with his bedsheet and covered Mirae with it. "There. That should do it. Now then…what should I do?"&nbsp;Seha then looked at a nearby clock, then his bag, then Mirae. After a few seconds, he came to a conclusion.&nbsp;"Guess I'll stay here then."&nbsp;He then sat down on a nearby couch, gazing over Mirae…&nbsp;(Later…)&nbsp;"Mmmmgh….mmmmgh…." Mirae moaned as she was turning in her sleep. Eventually, Mirae started to wake up. As she did, she noticed that she was covered by something. "Hm? This is…Seha's bed sheet? What is it doing here? I don't remember bringing it here." It was then she smelled something good, and it made her less drowsy. "This smell…" She thought before turning around to see Seha, who was cooking in the kitchen. "Seha?"&nbsp;Upon hearing Mirae's voice, Seha turned around. "Ah, You're awake, Mirae."&nbsp;"Mmmgh…did you just come back, Seha?"&nbsp;"No. I actually came back a while ago. Surprisingly, school ended early today due to unknown reasons.""Is that so?"&nbsp;&nbsp;"Yeah." Seha replied as he turned back to cooking.&nbsp;"Did something happen while I was asleep?"&nbsp;Immediately, Seha stopped what he was doing for a brief moment. "No. Nothing happened while you were asleep, but…"&nbsp;"But?"&nbsp;"It's just that you looked cute while you were asleep."&nbsp;For a moment, Mirae's mind took some time processing his words before letting out a blush as well. As she was walking, she saw something.&nbsp;"Mommy, I want to eat dinner!"&nbsp;The mom let out a chuckle. "Wait until we get home sweetie." she replied, to which the child pouted before the two began to walk away.&nbsp;For a moment, Mirae could not help but feel nostalgic seeing how the mother and son interacted with each other. It was like seeing herself with her guardian back at the island or herself with Ara and the others again.&nbsp;It was then that a certain question crossed her mind.&nbsp;"How are children made?"&nbsp;(Later…)-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"Seha, how are children made?"&nbsp;Immediately, Seha was flabbergasted on Mirae's question and started to choke on the food he was eating earlier, alarming Mirae.&nbsp;"Seha! Are you alright?!"&nbsp;"I-I'm fine. I was just surprised by your question…" he said as he was catching his breath before it was fully restored to normal. "W-Why did you ask me that? And where did that come from?"&nbsp;"Well, earlier when I went out for groceries, I saw a mother and her son talking earlier and it reminded me of my time when I was on the island."&nbsp;"...You still miss your friends from there?"&nbsp;"Yes. My time with Ara and the others did bring some happy memories despite how they ended up eventually. When I saw the mother with her child, it reminded me of how Ara and the others would gather around me, and I would always help them or play with them. In fact, the image of that is still in my head right now."&nbsp;"I see…"&nbsp;For a moment, the two did not say anything as they continued to eat their dinner. However, Mirae brought back the conversation. "Hey, Seha…speaking of family…what was your mom like?"&nbsp;"My mom? Well…my mom was pretty…and smart. Even now, I still don't know who he is…"&nbsp;It was then Mirae reached over the table and patted Seha on the head, playing with his hair. "There, there. Everything will be fine. You'll find the answer eventually."&nbsp;At that moment, Seha could not help but let out a smile. "Just how does Mirae do it? She always finds the right way to make me feel less depressed, not that I mind…" he thought to himself before replying to Mirae. "Thanks, Mirae."&nbsp;"No problem. So…how are children made?" Mirae asked.&nbsp;For a moment, Seha was silent before answering Mirae's question. "Well…it's a bit embarrassing to answer…and…well, a bit uncomfortable to say."------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Night has passed, and both Seha and Mirae were in bed together, preparing to go to sleep. As they were getting themselves comfortable, Seha started to talk. "Mirae, do you mind if I ask you a question?"&nbsp;"Sure. What is it?"&nbsp;"Well…have you considered what to do when you stop being a Closer? Or lose your phase force?"&nbsp;For a moment, Mirae was stunned by Seha's question. "What do you mean by that? You can lose your phase force?"&nbsp;"Well…the thing is that a Closer can lose phase force due to a disease known as Phase Force loss syndrome. I've seen it happen to people before."&nbsp;"Really?" Mirae asked, astonished after hearing such a thing exists.&nbsp;Seha nodded in reply. "Take J for example. He lost his phase force during the last war."&nbsp;Mirae's eyes widened upon hearing it. "Really? And he still accomplished what happened in Busan?" she asked, to which Seha replied with a nod. "Wow…but Seha, why are you asking me this question?"&nbsp;It was then Seha let out a small blush. "Well…when you mentioned how children were made, it somehow gave me the thought of what would happen after everything is over. I mean, all of this would end eventually, and…well, Closers would cease to exist."&nbsp;"I see...do you have an answer?"&nbsp;Seha let out a sigh. "If I were to be honest, I don't know what to do if I suddenly stopped becoming a Closer. My life has always revolved around Closers one way or another, and even I became one. To stop being a Closer…I haven't even thought about that, let alone what to do after that."&nbsp;As Seha said those words, Mirae could not help but notice a hint of sadness on his face. "Seha…"&nbsp;It was then he turned to Mirae. "What about you?"&nbsp;"Eh? Me?" she asked, making Seha nod in reply. "Well…I guess I'm just like you. When you asked me that question, I've never considered what to do outside of being a Closer. However…"&nbsp;"However?"&nbsp;It was then Mirae grabbed Seha's hands and held them up with her own.&nbsp;"If I were to stop being a Closer…I hope it's in a world where dimensional monsters would cease to appear every day.."&nbsp;At that moment, Seha was speechless until his expression changed. "A world without dimensional monsters appearing…I would love that." Seha said with a soft smile.&nbsp;"Me too." Mirae replied before letting out a yawn. "It's getting late now. Let's go to sleep."&nbsp;Seha nodded in reply. "Good night, Mirae."&nbsp;"Good night, Seha."&nbsp;And the two fell asleep…------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Mirae opened her eyes, seeing herself in a park under the blue sky. "This is…" she thought to herself.&nbsp;It was then she felt something, or rather some people grab onto her hands. As she did, she looked down to see two kids, each holding on to her hands. The kid who was holding on to her left hand looked like her, but with golden eyes. The other kid who was holding onto the remaining arm looked like Seha, but with her ruby eyes and Seha's silver hair.&nbsp;For a moment, Mirae was stunned with the kids in front of her. However, it was not over yet.&nbsp;"Mama! Let's go! Papa's waiting!" the girl said.&nbsp;"Yes. Along with the others." the boy said.&nbsp;Mirae's eyes widened before quickly seeing Seha, who was waiting under a tree, carrying a baby in his hands with a smile on his face and another child who looked like a female Seha was sitting on the ground. For a moment, Mirae was completely stunned at the situation in front of her.&nbsp;But then, she let out a smile. “Yes. Let's go.”-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Mirae opened her eyes, seeing herself in Seha's room. For a moment, she blinked before realizing what she saw earlier was a dream. "A dream?"&nbsp;It was then a yawn was heard, and it came from Seha, who was waking up. "Mmmgh…good morning, Mirae…" he mumbled as he was still drowsy.&nbsp;"Good morning, Seha."&nbsp;As Seha was getting himself awake, he noticed that Mirae was wearing a smile on her face. "Mirae, you're smiling. Did you have a good dream?"&nbsp;For a moment, Mirae was silent before saying her answer. "Yes. It was a good dream." she replied before a thought came into her head. "A dream I want to achieve in the future..."-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Omake&nbsp;"Hm…Seha said it's a bit uncomfortable to say how children are made, but why?"
