If you've signed up for the Closers World server forum, you're expected to follow these rules. On this website, we have established a set of ground rules, which will be expanded gradually over time.

The Closers community forum is a virtual gathering place where Agents can exchange ideas, learn from one another, and converse about a wide range of Closers Online topics that you may find interesting. However, please remember that any issues relating to personal accounts should still be brought up with Closers Support.

When we are analyzing the behavior of a user, whether that user is part of a community or an individual, we consider both the context and the pattern of behavior.

Rules

Do Not Threaten, Harass, or Bully

• Remain respectful of others at all times.
• Attacks on a personal level will strictly not be tolerated.
• We do not condone harassing, threatening, or bullying of other users, nor groups that support such behavior and any similar actions. This will not be limited to mentioned hereof.
  • When it comes to situations like this, we will issue a warning, but if it continues or is too excessive, we may have to resort to a direct ban without a warning.
• This can take many other forms, such as throwing insults at someone or stalking them across several discussion forum, to mention a few. Regardless of whether actions take place in public areas (such as a post, remark, username, etc.), they can be considered as harassment or abuse.
• It is not harassment to find someone annoying, or to strongly disagree with them. But acting in a way that would put off a person from engaging on forum, such as threatening them, calling them names, stalking them online, inciting others to do any of these things, or in any other way, is unacceptable.
• It is prohibited to impersonate a person, or crew by using their name as a forum name in a misleading or dishonest manner.
  • Using a staff member's name is absolutely forbidden.
• Intentionally Interfering with discussions or events may result in muting or a temporary ban.
• A forum member may be liable to a temporary or permanent ban for making defamatory comments on a problem that initially surfaced in-game.
• There will be no tolerance for any attacks on the moderators or staff of Naddic. You can submit a complaint to Closers Support for evaluation if you object to any of our actions made in the forum.
• It is not permitted to publish threats against Naddic staff or to have petitions calling for immediate updates or adjustments. You could suggest and utilize your thread for idea-sharing, but not to promote hate.

If you are a victim, please do not engage in such activity. We highly advise ignoring any received abuse instead of reacting to them, and reporting the actions directly to Closers Support.

Please note that any reports will be deemed invalid if the person was provoked into engaging in inappropriate behavior.

Do Not Promote Hate Based on Identity or Vulnerability

• Using foul language, cursing, turning such words into acronyms/slang terminology, or emoji/memes just to express such hatred is inappropriate and could cause your account to get muted or banned.
• Groups and people who incite violence or spread hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned.
• Any attempt to get around a bad word, including forum names or signatures with words that are inappropriate, will not be accepted. If you change words or use abbreviations just to hide it, that's an offense that can get you suspended.
• Groups that are marginalized or vulnerable include, but are not limited to, those based on:

• Actual and perceived race/color
• Religion
• National origin/Ethnicity
• Gender/gender identity/sexual orientation
• Disability
• Political

• Individuals who did not initiate but participated in hateful attacks or concealed their bigotry through false claims of discrimination will be evaluated for suspension.

Do Not Spam or Manipulate

• Can be defined as any undesired or uninvited posting or actions that occur repeatedly.
• Be sure to play fairly and avoid manipulating the entries or material, especially if there is a forum event.

How can I avoid being labeled as a spammer?

• Refrain from starting a new topic or replying with the same question, especially if it was recently asked.
• Use the "Search" option to see whether a similar thread has already been posted.
• Use topic names that are descriptive rather than attention-grabbing headings.
• Participate in the forum by posting genuine content.
• Don’t post anything that is related to other games
• Do not advertise
• Don’t post topics that are not related to the thread's current topic.

The following actions(but are not limited to) may be considered spam and are grounds for removal or suspension:

• Overusing emojis and reactions
• Repeatedly posting the same or similar comments in a forum thread.
• Posting unrelated and irrelevant contents or topics in a thread.
• Posting links that are unrelated to the topic or directing to harmful third-party contents.
• Confirmed bots that posts in the forum.
• Posting unrelated topics in an attempt to “bump” the thread.
• An individual user creating more than one forum account.

If you are unsure if your content is considered as a spam or an unwelcomed topic, please contact the moderators or Closers Support.

Do Not Post Personal Information and Copyright-Infringing Material

• Posting personal information, whether it belongs to you or someone else, is forbidden. Any post where we find information that might be true (like a real name, address, email address, or phone number, etc.) will be removed. Moreover, the user who posted it will receive a ban.
• Providing information, direct links, screenshot, or even keywords that lead to a person's content-containing personal profile on social networking platforms like Facebook, Twitter, etc. is prohibited.
• Closers character information or public figures may be an exemption to this rule, but don't post anything that can encourage hate speech (refer to Rule #1 & #2).
• In general, copyright infringement happens when a work protected by a copyright is reproduced, distributed, performed, publicly displayed, or turned into a particular form without the owner's consent.
• We are not responsible for that Material that reveals other personal information posted on the Forum and any resultant legal/other issues are the responsibility of those who posted it.
• Copyright-Infringing Material posted on the Forum may be removed without prior notice and any resultant legal/other issues are the responsibility of those who posted it.

Do Not Post Inappropriate or Sexually Suggestive Materials

• Any sexually explicit or suggestive material is forbidden, especially when it involves minors or someone who appears to be a minor. Any involvement in this will be permanently banned.
• If you are uncertain about a piece of content involving a minor or someone who appears to be a minor, you should not publish it even if you have their consent.
• Obscene materials are not allowed in the forum. This includes, but is not limited to, the user's profile picture, username, memes, emotes, etc.
• Do not engage in inappropriate conversations, as doing so could have negative consequences for your account.

Soliciting or Transactions Involving Digital/Real Goods and Services is Not Allowed

• Any real money transactions are absolutely forbidden and will result in an automatic permanent ban.
• Forum is not permitted to be used to facilitate or solicit gifts or transactions involving certain products and services.
• Agents may list products for sale and purchase in the forum, but any in-game transactions should only be made through the in-game Private Black Market to prevent fraud.

• Only items from the Closers World server may be posted; items from other Closers servers or other games for trades are not permitted.

Do Not Post or Encourage Others to Play in Different Games or Closers Server

• You must respect the game's forum exclusivity as this forum only serves Agents on the Closers World server.
• Discussions of other Closers servers are permitted as long as you don't push people to try or switch to the other server and/or insult the World Server.

• Quitting-related topics will also be up for deletion.

• Posts promoting other games are not allowed, and we reserve the right to remove them.

Any Forms to Bypass the Rules or Exploiting

• Do not attempt to utilize any methods that might damage the website.
• Any attempt to find a way around any of the game rules or forum rules that would normally be against forum or game policy, whether it's a specific rule or clues, will be removed.
• In general, we urge you to report any bugs or problems to us so that we can fix them. Anyone who abuses the issue or defect risks having their account permanently banned.
• Avoid creating multiple forum accounts, particularly if your previous account was banned. This could lead to other accounts being banned in the future.

Enforcement

Our methods for enforcing our rules include, but are not limited to:

• Warning
• Mute
• Temporary Forum account suspension
• Permanent Forum account suspension
• Removal of privileges or adding restrictions
• Removal/deletion of post

The administrators and moderators of this forum have the authority to edit, delete, move, or close any thread or post for any reason they deem appropriate, with or without providing warning. Also, the ground is not limited to the abovementioned, and the administrators or moderators deserve the right to punish the player who is considered as violating the internal rule or causing any issue in the Forum environment.  However, if you believe that the administrators' or moderators' actions are unfair, you may make an appeal through Closers Support.
